Organisation Description Berdaya Malaysia is an non-profit organisation that aim to produce series of fully 2D animated educational videos regarding political literacy, general knowledge and current issues of Malaysia. Role Description This is a contract 2D Animator role in Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for partial remote work. As a 2D Animator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality animated content for use on online video platform and shown in schools. Your duties will include designing characters and backgrounds, and bringing them to life using animation software. You will also need to work closely with other departments, such as writing and design, to ensure that the final product meets the organisation project\'s needs and vision. Requirements and Qualifications Fresh graduates welcomed and prioritised Proficiency with 2D animation software, such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom or Moho etc Strong foundation in traditional animation principles, including timing, spacing, and weight Experience with storyboarding, character design, and background design Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate ideas clearly Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once Bachelor\'s degree in animation, fine arts, or a related field is preferred, but not required Experience creating animated content for any media or platform Passion for animation and staying up-to-date with industry trends and techniques is a plus
