Job Summary:
We are looking for a
competent and certified A4 Chargeman
to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. The A4 Chargeman will be responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairinglow voltage (LV) electrical installations up to 1,000V AC
, ensuring compliance withSuruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)
requirements and theElectricity Supply Act 1990
.What You Will Do
Operate, inspect, and maintain all
low voltage electrical systems
, switchboards, MCCs, and distribution boards. Carry outpreventive and corrective maintenance
of electrical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults according toST and OSHA
safety standards. Performtesting, calibration, and inspection
of electrical systems and protection devices. Ensure all electrical work complies withElectricity Regulations 1994
and company safety procedures. Record and maintainmaintenance logs, inspection reports, and ST compliance documentation
. Supervise and guide technicians during electrical maintenance and shutdown activities. Participate in emergency response, safety drills, and electrical safety programs. Liaise with contractors, utility providers, and regulatory bodies on electrical matters.What We Want from You
Valid A4 Chargeman Certificate of Competency
issued bySuruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission Malaysia)
. Minimum2-3 years of relevant working experience
in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial settings. Strong understanding oflow voltage systems
, electrical safety, and Malaysian electrical regulations. Able to read and interpretelectrical single-line diagrams and wiring drawings
. Hands-on experience withelectrical test instruments
(multimeter, insulation tester, earth tester, etc.). Willing to work on shifts, weekends, or standby duties when required. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
