Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate, maintain, and repair electrical systems, switchboards, and machinery in accordance with Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) regulations.

Ensure mill electrical systems are in safe working condition and perform routine preventive maintenance.

Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, control panels, generators, and lighting systems.

Carry out installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment as required.

Maintain proper records of all electrical inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

Monitor power usage and ensure energy efficiency practices are implemented.

Ensure compliance with the Electricity Supply Act and other relevant safety regulations.

Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimize production downtime.

Supervise and guide electrical technicians and general workers under their care.

Support in the preparation of electrical audits and inspections.

To comply and advise management on electrical safety.

Requirements:

Possess a valid Chargeman Certificate (A4) from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission of Malaysia).

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical equipment, maintenance, preferably in a palm oil mill.

Good understanding of three-phase systems, motors, switchgears, and generators.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Willingness to respond to emergency calls after hours.

Physically fit and able to work in team.

Knowledge of MSPO compliance in relation to electrical safety.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
