Main Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible to carry out all duties assigned by the Master/Chief Officer in relation to Deck Maintenance and cleanliness onboard \xe2\x80\xa2 Lashing and securing the deck cargo or equipment on deck. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintenance of deck machinery and equipment \xe2\x80\xa2 Washing down the vessel externally. \xe2\x80\xa2 Internal cleanliness of specified areas during watch periods. \xe2\x80\xa2 Night watches in Port as required. \xe2\x80\xa2 General deck-work as required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manning mooring stations as required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in look out when passing restricted visibility area or pirate infested area \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist the diving crew as necessary and liaise with the bridge. \xe2\x80\xa2 Working within other departments as instructed by the Master/Chief Officer
