Provides support to the accounting department by handling general accounting task on a daily basis to ensure the operation of the Company is organized and systematic.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with financial transaction - process invoices, expense forms and other financial documents accurately.
Maintaining financial records - keep track of financial records, including general ledger and other financial documents.
Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
To perform bank reconciliation - reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Assisting with audit - provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documents and providing necessary information.
Assisting in preparing budget and board papers.
Handling with correspondence - respond inquiries from clients, vendors and colleagues regarding financial matters.
Data entry - accurately input financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets.
Supporting financial reporting - assist in the preparation of financial report such as statement of financial position and statements of comprehensive income or loss.
Administrative tasks - perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and organizing financial documents.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies including to the access of RAC's documents, cash and bank information, accounting systems and related companies.
Multi-tasking in the general accounting related functions, administration and ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the management.
Qualification:
Diploma in accounting, finance, or related field.
ACCA qualification (part or full qualification is an added advantage).
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Experience in Microsoft Power BI is an added advantage.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize work effectively.
Good written and verbal communication skills are essential for liaising with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
Maintain a high level of integrity and ethical conduct.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in procedures, software, or regulations.
A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in finance, accounting or a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
