Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry and maintenance of accounting records.
Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, debit/credit notes, and receipts.
Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
Perform bank reconciliations and follow up on outstanding transactions.
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
Support preparation of financial reports and schedules.
Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, bankers, and tax agents when required.
Perform any other accounting or administrative duties as assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant working experience is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Familiar with accounting software (e.g. SQL, AutoCount, UBS, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
High level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
