Account Assistant (internship/contract)

Job Description

Working Hours: 8.30am-5.30pm (Mon-Fri) Main duties:

  • All AR functions which are applicable to respective branch. Report directly to Assistant Finance Manager/Finance Manager.
  • Familiar with basic accounting principles.
  • Match bank in slips of cash bank in to daily income summary and ensure that the amounts and records agree.
  • Key in daily transactions into accounting software. Knock off transactions upon cash receipt / cash bank in.
  • Match settlement slips of credit card transactions to daily income summary and ensure that the amounts and records agree.
  • Verify transactions in the daily income summary through comparison to bank merchant statements and ensure that any differences are accounted.
  • Reconciling bank statements and ledger.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned by superior.
Requirement :
  • Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Masters in Accounting.
  • Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Aptitude for math, proficiency with computers.

Contract length: 3 months Salary: RM1,000.00 - RM1,500.00 per month Schedule:
