Handle

Accounts Payable (AP)

and

Accounts Receivable (AR)

functions, including verifying invoices, preparing payment vouchers, and issuing receipts. Prepare and process

billing for freight, demurrage, terminal charges, and other shipping-related services

. Assist in

reconciling shipping agents', port, and vendor accounts

. Maintain proper documentation of

debit notes, credit notes, and journal entries

. Support

month-end and year-end closing

activities, including updating ledgers and assisting with financial reports. Perform

bank reconciliation

and monitor cash flow for local and overseas accounts. Coordinate with

operations and logistics teams

to ensure accurate cost allocation and job costing. Assist in preparing

GST / SST submissions and audit schedules

. Maintain an organized filing system for accounting records and shipping documents. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

. Minimum

1-3 years of experience

in accounting, preferably in the

shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry

. Proficient in

Microsoft Excel

and accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, UBS, or SAP). Good understanding of

billing cycles, shipping documentation, and port-related charges

. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills. Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.

Additional Advantage:

Familiarity with

liner and non-liner shipping operations

. Knowledge of

foreign currency transactions

and

international payment processes

.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
