Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong data entry and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to provide administrative support and manage office tasks efficiently.
  • Customer service skills for handling inquiries and assisting clients or vendors.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices is an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform daily accounting tasks, such as processing invoices, recording payments, and reconciling bank statements, maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including verifying invoices, processing payments to vendors, and following up on outstanding customer balances.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, data entry, and preparing reports, contributing to the efficient operation of the team.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, customers, and colleagues, to resolve accounting-related inquiries and issues.
