Job Overview:



We are looking for a meticulous and trustworthy

Accountant

with solid

finance and bookkeeping experience

to manage and improve the company's financial operations. This role involves handling daily bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You'll play a critical role in maintaining healthy financial practices and supporting the company's overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:



Bookkeeping & Financial Records



Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers and financial records. Record daily transactions, including purchases, receipts, payments, and invoices. Reconcile bank and credit statements regularly.

Accounts Payable & Receivable



Manage outgoing payments and ensure suppliers are paid on time. Issue invoices, follow up on receivables, and maintain customer accounts.

Financial Reporting & Analysis



Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements. Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations.

Cash Flow & Budget Management



Track company cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and expense planning.

Compliance & Taxation



Ensure compliance with Malaysia's financial regulations, SST, and company tax obligations. Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants when necessary.

Inventory Costing & Financial Support



Work with inventory and operations teams to ensure accurate costing and valuation. Support management in product pricing and profitability analysis.

Administrative & Systems Support



Use accounting software and tools such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount, or QuickBooks. Prepare financial documents and presentations using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other relevant platforms.

Required Skills:



Proven experience in bookkeeping, finance operations, and general accounting practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, QuickBooks). Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Comfortable using Microsoft 365, Google Sheets, and Excel for financial tracking and reporting. Language Proficiency: Best if able to communicate fluently in English, Malay, and Chinese.

Qualifications:



Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least

1-2 years of experience

in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping roles. Knowledge of Malaysian tax and accounting regulations is a plus. Professional certification (ACCA, MIA, or equivalent) is an advantage but not required.
