Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Account Assistant

to support the finance and project teams in managing accounting tasks related to

TNB substation and building projects

. The role involves assisting in data entry, invoice and claim processing, payment preparation, and maintaining accurate financial records to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in recording and organizing financial transactions. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts. Liaise with vendors and suppliers for payment matters and documentation Perform

monthly reconciliations

for bank, supplier statements, and petty cash. Organize and file all supporting documents for

audit purposes

. Liaise with internal departments and suppliers on

payment and billing matters

. Assist with

staff claims and petty cash handling

as needed. Ensure all records are properly filed and up-to-date. Carry out

other ad hoc tasks

assigned by the Account Supervisor.

Requirements:

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior experience is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good knowledge of basic accounting and project-related documentation. Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to manage deadlines. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
