Job Description


  • Possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance/LCCI or related fields with professional qualifications.
  • Some experience as Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk.
  • Possess good knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
  • Familiar with accounting standards and filling procedure.
  • Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
  • Knowledge in MS Excel and some knowledge of accounting software.
  • Organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • Literate in computers and good writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to work independently & under minimum supervision
Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Preparations, recording and checking of Accounts Payable/Receivables
  • Maintain proper record and organisation of filling system.
  • Complete weekly bank reconciliations to ensure no discrepancy in banking.
  • Check on petty cash returns from branches and issue reimbursement cheque.
  • Check on staff expenses claim and input to staff claim template.
  • Credit Control reporting
  • Any other ad hoc accounting/administrative assignment.
  • Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation.
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.
