- Regularly compare physical stock counts with accounting system records to ensure consistency.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Maintain accurate records of stock issues, ensuring that all transactions are properly documented and authorized.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of stock issues into the accounting system.
- Record and verify all goods received notes (GRNs) to ensure that received goods are accurately documented.
- Match GRNs with purchase orders and supplier invoices, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in conducting regular physical stock counts and reconciliations.
- Help implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies and losses.
- Work closely with the warehouse, procurement, and finance teams to ensure smooth inventory management processes.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding stock issues and discrepancies.
