Account Assistant

Job Description


We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team and assist Senior Account Executive with account preparation, financial reports, processing payment, and managing invoices.

Requirement:

  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Candidates with knowledge in SQL payroll software and AutoCount Accounting Software will be added advantage
  • Possess good communication skills both spoken and written in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. The candidate that is well versed in the Mandarin language both spoken and written will be added advantage
  • Computer literate, familiar with MS Office applications - Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Proactive mindset and high willingness to learn
  • Willing to start immediately is a priority.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Update and record cash flow transactions.
  • Prepare monthly payroll and keep organized records
  • Prepare for annual audit closing and fact-checking
  • Update and record daily petty cash transaction
  • Key in creditor and debtor invoices in the system accordingly.
  • Prepare yearly depreciation report
  • Carry out any other ad hoc work as and when required
