Perform audit fieldwork including planning, execution, and documentation of audit procedures.
Examine financial statements, accounting records, internal controls, and compliance with statutory requirements.
Identify risks, errors, and control weaknesses, and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
Prepare audit working papers and draft audit reports in accordance with auditing standards.
Liaise with clients to obtain required audit documentation and clarify audit findings.
Ensure audits are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
Assist in reviewing junior auditors' work and provide guidance where necessary.
Stay updated on accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum
2-3 years of relevant working experience in an audit firm
.
Good knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and auditing standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients professionally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with audit software is an advantage.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
