Job Summary:
The Account Clerk is responsible to assist Senior Account executive day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to handle both operational and strategic financial tasks(Company Tax).
Key Responsibilities:
Assist to prepare full sets of accounts, including monthly management reports, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Handle accounts payable/receivable and general ledger activities.
Ensure timely submission of tax filings, and other statutory requirements.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Assist Senior Account Executive to liaise with auditors, tax agents, and banks.
Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation.
To prepare financial reports for management decision-making.
Support process improvements and automation of finance functions.
Assist Senior account executive in internal and external audits with less supervision
Requirements:
Accounting/Finance Field/background
Minimum 2-3 years above of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory requirements in Malaysia.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SQL, Autocount, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Own D driving license and car
No blacklisted,no health issue,
Can travelling (when needed only)
Able to give feedback/support anytime/Less supervision
Preferred Qualities:
Experience in handling audits and liaising with auditors.
Knowledge of financial analysis and business performance metrics added advantage
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
