Job Description
Responsibilities:Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Accurate and timely entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Maintaining and updating financial records, ledgers, and databases.
- Verifying and processing invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinating with vendors and internal departments to resolve any invoice discrepancies.
- Monitoring and recording company expenses.
- Reconciliation of employee expense reports with receipts.
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Preparation of financial reports as needed.
- Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Providing administrative support to the finance department as required.
- Assisting with special projects and tasks as assigned.
- Experience as an Account Clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
