Job Description

Job Purpose:



To handle full sets of accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. The role supports month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit preparation in accordance with accounting standards.

Job Duties:



Handle

full set of accounts

, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations. Prepare and ensure timely submission of

monthly financial reports

and supporting schedules.

Maintain accurate accounting records

and ensure all transactions comply with accounting standards and company policies. Process

supplier invoices, payments, and staff claims

, and ensure proper documentation. Issue

customer invoices

, follow up on collections, and update receipts. Prepare

journal entries

, accruals, and adjustments during month-end closing. Assist in

budget preparation

and

variance analysis

. Ensure compliance with

statutory requirements

, including SST, tax filing, and other regulatory submissions. Support

management reporting

and provide data for decision-making when required. Participate in

system improvements

and process enhancement initiatives. Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Superior.

Education:



Diploma / Degree in Accounting

Experience:



0-2 years of working experience in accounting

Other:



Good understanding of accounting transactions and processes. Good Microsoft Excel skills -- especially for reconciliation, pivot tables, and basic formulas. Strong sense of responsibility and accountability. Good record-keeping and documentation habits. Able to liaise effectively with auditors, tax agents, vendors, and internal departments. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Meticulous, organized, and responsible in handling financial data.
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
