Job Description

Responsiblities: Responsible for newly added fixed assets, FA tagging c/w serial number, tracking the existing, calculating and recording FA depreciation as well as accounting for disposed fixed assets Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions into system before 5th every month To record fixed asset revaluation based on MPERS accounting standard Create and control Standard of Procedure (SOP) and forms of fixed asset record Assign tag numbers to fixed assets Prepare documentation & claims payment for purchasing of fixed asset Ensure all asset is ready for new outlet opening Providing payment to vendor for purchasing of fixed asset by cheque or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) Liaising with financial institution related to financing of fixed asset acquisition To record all invoices and credit note (CN) related to fixed asset purchased To conduct physical counts & audit on fixed asset periodically for group of companies & analyse the potential of obsolescene of fixed assets Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets every month (before 10th) Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation on monthly basis (before 10th) To maintain fixed asset information in ERP & Excel including their serial number and asset tagging number bu Fixed Asset Category Reconcile Fixed Asset Listing in Excel form and Fixed Asset subsidiary ledger to ensure all Asset are key in accurately in accounting system Prepare analysis related to fixed asset as requested by Management To apply petrol card for new entitlement and payment for petrol vendor Maintain the company MV, renewal of insurance & Company motor vehicle road tax, and payment to Puspakom Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by immediate superiors Requirements: - Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. - Required skill(s): erp software, MS Excel, MS Office. - Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English - Possess strong analytical & mathematical skills, sense of urgency, positive working attitude & display a lot of initiative. - Applicants must be willing to work in KUALA TERENGGANU.
