The Account Executive Intern will play a supporting role in the organisation's finance operations, with key involvement in documentation, reporting, and reconciliation processes. This role is designed to enhance operational efficiency and ensure accuracy in financial data management. The intern will gain exposure to full-spectrum accounting processes, contributing to the overall integrity and compliance of financial activities within Wazzap Me Sdn. Bhd.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing monthly financial summaries and basic accounting reports.
Support daily accounting operations including invoice processing, payment tracking, and data entry.
Participate in bank, invoice, and ledger reconciliation activities.
Help ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company financial policies.
Assist in monitoring expenditures, cost tracking, and simple variance analysis.
Support the finance team in preparing documents for audit exercises.
Liaise with internal teams to gather and verify financial information.
Contribute to process optimisation initiatives to enhance financial workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
Detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information
Internship allowance provided.
