Job Description

Lead and mentor Account Officers in Accounts Payable (AP) and inventory management, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting. Manage monthly and quarterly closing processes, including accrual accounting and supporting schedules. Ensure timely and accurate statutory and corporate compliance reporting. Support Corporate and Withholding Tax (WHT) compliance and liaise with external auditors when required. Prepare and post accounting journals, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis. Advise operational departments on accounting processes and recommend efficiency improvements. Oversee recording of financial transactions in line with internal policies. Monitor and maintain accuracy of inventory accounting with operations teams.

Job Requirement

3-4 years of general/financial accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing. Strong analytical and prioritization skills with proven process improvement capability. Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., Auto Count) and ERP platforms. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
