POSITION OVERVIEW

The Finance Executive is responsible for overseeing the overall performance of the Finance operations, including analysis, budgeting, and reporting activities. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations, provides strategic financial guidance to senior management, and supports the company's overall financial goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts. Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support strategic decision-making. Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, to senior management. Monitor and analyze financial performance against targets and KPIs.

Budgeting & Reporting:

Coordinate the budgeting process with various departments. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support business objectives.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Manage audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities. Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.

Strategic Initiatives:

Support senior management in developing long-term financial strategies. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive business growth. Provide financial insights and recommendations for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives. Supervise and mentor finance team members. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for professional development. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma, or professional degree in Finance or Accounting. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred. Experience in audit and tax-related matters is an advantage. Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a financial managerial role. Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with financial regulations. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Must be entrusted with the company's confidential financial data.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
