To support Sr Accounts Executive in managing daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support the company's financial health by handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions related to construction projects.
Qualification & Requirement:
Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in accounting. Candidates with experience in accounting firm and construction industry will be given priority.
Familiar with AutoCount or other related accounting software.
Possess good communication and written skills in English. Other language is an added advantage.
Proficient in basic accounting principles, standards, and book-keeping knowledge.
Good communication skills to liaise with client, suppliers, and internal teams.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willing to be relocated to Sibu, Sarawak.
Applicants from Sibu, Sarawak will be given a priority.
Main Responsibilities:
To perform daily transaction and accounts data entry into accounting system.
To liaise with suppliers & customers for billing and payment matters & perform monthly balance reconciliation to suppliers' and customers' statements.
Assist in monthly financial closing and yearly audits.
To maintain regular and accurate filling and documentation of financial records.
Responsible for closing monthly management accounts on a timely manner.
Responsible for recording the accounting transactions accurately and completely into the accounting system.
Responsible for issuing invoices to customers, issuing purchase order to vendors and preparing payment including
Responsible for updating bank, creditors and debtors' reconciliations and prepare reports related to audit activities.
Liaise with banks and/or advisor in respect to external and/or internal financing.
Other responsibilities to be assigned by superior from time to time.
