Job Description

We are looking for a competent Accountant reporting to Head of Finance/CEO. You'll be directly responsible for:

Managing the payment cycle ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Follow up, maintaining and promoting excellent vendor relations.

We expect you to be a reliable professional, to achieve a balance between client orientation and a results-driven approach. Your goal is to follow up on payments monthly to sustain profitable long-term relationships. The Candidate must demonstrate evidence of these skills:

Effective communication with clients by phone, email and face-to-face to ensure payments are made monthly to sustain profits of the firm; Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with different types of customers and clients; Strong organizational & time management skills in a business setting; Attention to detail in managing accounts to ensure financial information and accounting records are accurate and up-to-date. For example: enter and review financial figures on bank accounts, invoices and account statements.

These attributes will be desirable for this position:

Minimum 2 years experience in a business/accounts position or relevant; Demonstrated proficiency in computer, accountancy skills and Microsoft Office; Relevant Qualification in Accountancy; Multilingual - in spoken English, Chinese/Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia. Audit experience is an advantage for this position.
