Account Executive/associate (accounts Payable/receivable & General Ledger)

Job Description


: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented accountexecutiveor associateto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company\'s accounts payable, general ledger, and accounts receivable functions. This role will also require strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in the Mandarin language, to liaise with our Chinese stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies and managing vendor relationships.
  • Maintain and update vendor master files, ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
  • Process employee expense reports and credit card transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and process payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other accounts as required.
  • Manage the accounts receivable function, including customer billing, collection, and reconciliation.
  • Provide support to the Finance Manager in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, filing tax returns, and responding to tax inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, general ledger, and accounts receivable accounting.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Fluent in Chinese language (Mandarin) would be added advantages.

  • General ledger: 1 year (Preferred)
