The Accounts Executive plays a key role in supporting the company's finance operations by ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely invoicing and collections (including e-invoicing/Autopay/MindBody systems), efficient vendor payments, and proper payroll and statutory compliance (SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS). Success in this role is measured by the accuracy of financial records, timeliness of reporting and submissions, compliance with audit and regulatory requirements, and effective support to both internal stakeholders and external auditors. By maintaining organized financial documentation, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with ad-hoc projects, the Accounts Executive ensures smooth financial operations and contributes to the overall reliability and efficiency of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities & TasksA. Bookkeeping & Data Entry
Record day-to-day transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts).
Maintain general ledger, journals, and supporting schedules.
Ensure accurate coding of expenses and revenue.
B. Billing & Collections
Issue client invoices promptly and follow up on payments. (i.e. e-invoicing & Autopay/MindBody system)
Maintain customer receivable aging report.
Reconcile collections against bank statements.
C. Accounts Payable & Payments
Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare payment batches according to company policy.
D. Compliance & Audit Support
Prepare SST filings, ensure timely submission.
Maintain complete and audit-ready documentation.
Assist auditors with supporting documents during audits.
E. Payroll & HR Support
Assist in payroll processing (data entry, timesheets).
Ensure statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS) are filed.
Assist in calculating commissions and staff reimbursements.
F. Other Administrative Support
Maintain filing of finance documents (hardcopy & digital).
Liaise with government agencies (i.e. LHDN/Kastam/statutory bodies) and company secretaries when required.
Support finance team in ad-hoc projects or reconciliations.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
