Shadowing members of the Finance department as they perform their duties and eventually learn to be independently carry out the duties
Processing vendors invoices and payments
Working with Accounting software (Navision) and Business intelligence reporting software
Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements and submission to management for reviews
Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and operations.
What will you take away:
Learn how to work as part of the Accounting & Finance team to process accounting records, compile and analyze data, track information supporting the Finance department of the company as a whole.
Understand and get expose to management reporting and information used by Management to assess a company\'s performance
Accounting Intern Requirements:
Actively working towards a Diploma or Bachelors in Accounting.
Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles (for e.g. IFRS).
Aptitude for mathematics, proficiency with computers, strong analytical and critical mindset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible
