Role Description Milk PR is seeking a full-time Public Relations Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, building strong media, KOL as well as client relationships, and overseeing the successful execution of PR campaigns and strategies. This is a hybrid role based in Kuala Lumpur with flexibility for some remote work. WHAT TO EXPECT Account and Team Management Manage, lead, and execute a diverse range of accounts, tasks, projects, and deliverables simultaneously in an organised manner. Showcase versatile leadership style to manage a team of shared executives who are not exclusively dedicated to one manager, i.e., able to communicate and coordinate time management and consideration of workload to ensure efficient workflow as well as proper productivity and resourcing across teams. Assess upcoming workloads and effectively plan out timelines and coordinate resourcing solutions to ensure all deadlines are met. Fairly delegate execution of tasks across the team, including to oneself, to ensure the agency\'s flat team structure and a balanced workload. Client Management Lead communications and basic counsel with the client. Understand the clients\' business and goals, as well as identify issues and opportunities that will affect them. Able to come up with and present strategies and solutions that address the clients\' needs/issues. Ideation and Strategy Bring new thinking, ideas, and unique perspective. Researched ideation supported by/based on global and local market, industry and landscape trends. Able to lead the development of a PR Strategy deck. Content and Writing Develop creative editorial angles and brand narratives for clients. Able to write press releases. Media Management Identify editorial and/or partnership opportunities with relevant media for clients. Demonstrate strong media relationships and the ability to quickly build rapport with new media and/or media from different beats. Influencer Management Identify opportunities for collaboration and brand engagement with relevant influencers. Solid knowledge of the influencer landscape and trends, i.e., up-and-coming influencers, TikTok trends, Instagram filters and stickers, etc. Event Management Able to match vendor capabilities to client\'s expectations. The ability to bring together all components needed to execute a successful \'talk-of-the-town event. REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years of experience in an established public relations and/or communications agency, or an equivalent number of years in a corporate communications and/or marketing communications department of MNCs or GLCs. Preferably with exposure to both corporate and lifestyle clients. Experience leading and managing a small team (2-3 people), at the very least. Highly independent and self-motivated. Hungry for innovative, new ways of thinking with a drive to implement/execute ahead of others. Confident with creating, presenting, and defending ideas backed by research and/or insights. A proficient and careful writer who is passionate about storytelling. A generalist with strong research and analysis skills. Team-oriented and can work with consideration for others. Proficiency in languages other than Bahasa Melayu and English is beneficial but will not be a determinant in the hiring process. WHAT WILL GIVE YOU AN EDGE Web Analytics Able to understand the importance and relevance of web metrics as a measurement of success. Experience with an analytics dashboard like Google Analytics, Meltwater, or Social Studio will be advantageous. Knowledge in coding or programming languages is not required. Social Media Management Experience with creating social media strategies and content calendars. Experience with a social media management tool or an influencer dashboard will be advantageous. New Technologies Up-to-date with the latest digital trends and technologies, including keeping abreast with upcoming social media platforms across the globe. Business Development The ability to generate, follow-up, and secure new business for the agency.
