Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and management reports. Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and financial planning. Ensure compliance with tax requirements including SST, income tax, and other regulatory filings. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities. Maintain accurate records of F&B inventory, costing, and stock adjustments. Work closely with operations and management to improve financial processes and operational efficiency. Analyse financial data to support strategic business decisions. Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. Manage petty cash, payroll processes, and supplier payments. Assist in system improvements and digital transformation related to accounting and finance.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry

. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. Strong knowledge of Malaysian taxation, SST, and financial regulations. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with inventory and cost control in the F&B industry is highly advantageous.
