Our client is a leading PR and strategic business communications consultancy in Malaysia with over 25 years of experience.

Job Tittle: Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of all client-related Public Relations, Corporate Communications activities including day-to-day liaison with clients, suppliers, associates, media, government departments and other relevant organisations and individuals and support online awareness and reputation, engagement and response strategies, standards implementation, content development and monitoring and reporting
• Assist in fan/follower acquisition and engagement strategies on client-owned platforms: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and other platforms as needed by the client
• Provide copywriting and creative support for social channel content (Facebook posts, Pinterest pins, etc.)
• Establish and build online relationships with key influencers (i.e. blogger relations) through proactive online strategies and execution
• Media relations including preparing and issuing press releases, identifying press opportunities, liaison with editors and journalists, research, media monitoring and reporting, etc.
• Event Management including organizing press conferences, press briefings, and other client-related activities.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or any related field
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Digital Communications or related fields are encouraged to apply.
• Good command of the English language, Possesses excellent written and verbal communications skills with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Computer literate with skills in MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint
• Social media savvy and knowledge across a range of social media platforms. An understanding of the unique challenges surrounding social media projects is an added advantage
