Job Description

Salary: MYR 5,000 - MYR 7,000 Per Month

Location: Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang

Type: Full Time

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in handling full set of accounts.

Strong knowledge of tax regulations and audit processes is highly preferred.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount).

Good command of English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (written & spoken).

High level of commitment towards deadlines, responsibility and detail-oriented.

Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.

Ensure the accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (MFRS) and company policies.

Prepare budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial analysis and establish effective tax planning.

Preparation of all tax matters, including SST and corporate tax submissions in a timely manner.

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities to ensure full compliance with Malaysian regulations and keep updated with latest tax and regulatory changes.

Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of growth.

Perform any ad hoc task assigned by superior.
