Job Details:
Position : Accountant

Company Industry : FMCG
Working Hours : Monday - Friday (3.00 PM - 12.00 AM)
Working Location : The Pinnacle,, Persiaran Lagoon, Bandar Sunway, 46150 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Working Duration: 12 months contract with PERSOLKELLY
Remuneration : Basic RM3,000 - RM4,000 (based on experience & qualification) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + insurance & medical benefits
Start Date : ASAP

Job Requirement

• Degree in Accounting/ Finance and related
• At least 2 years of experience in Audit or General Accounting
• Balance sheet accounts reconciliation experience
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply so long as they have Accounting or Finance Background and have good academic performance
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, or similar desktop applications
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Confirmed ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
• Able to work remotely with the team in Philippines

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing accounting and daily operations for Intercompany Accounting process area.
• Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements.
• Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.
• Deep expertise, fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas.
• Regular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items.
• On the job training for new team members / BPO partners.
• Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities.
• Understand, adhere, and execute per worldwide policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions.
• Ensure strong internal controls are in place, in order to achieve "adequateaEUR internal and external audit
