Job Description
We are seeking a
qualified and experienced Accountant (Mandarin Speaker)
to join our finance team inPetaling Jaya
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and leading a small finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, multinational environment.Key Responsibilities
Oversee
daily accounting operations
including AR/AP, month-end closing, reporting, and treasury. Supervise and guideAccounts Executives
to ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping. Preparemanagement reports, budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
Ensure compliance withinternal control systems, policies, and audit standards.
Work closely with regional finance teams and the Compliance department. Support internal and external stakeholders (auditors, tax agents, bankers, etc.). Lead projects initiated byglobal or regional finance teams.
Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to the accounting team.Requirements
Qualified Accountant
(Degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent). Minimum8 years of accounting experience
, with3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong experience inAR/AP, reporting, treasury, and month-end closing.
Hands-on experience withERP systems
, preferablySAP.
Candidates with bothaudit and commercial finance
experience preferred.Mandarin speaking candidates
are preferred. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Able to work in afast-paced, dynamic environment.
