Job Description

The role requires you to be in charge of reviewing Financial Statements and handling a high volume of transactions for the full spectrum of accounts. The role is reporting to Finance Manager.

This role would require you to:

• Perform month-end closing procedures, including reconciliation to creditor\'s statements, bank reconciliation, inter-company, and accounts reconciliations, and updating schedules
• Review Financial Statements and provide continuous improvement efforts in current accounting processes and management reporting.
• Manage fixed assets and monitor credit control and aged collections.
• Conduct stock valuation analysis, prepare monthly reports on slow-moving stock, and oversee the year-end stock take exercise.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of local statutory reports
• Prepare SST (Sales and Services Tax) and corporate tax preparation and submission.
• Other ad-hoc projects as and when required

A successful candidate would be required to possess the following:

• At least a University Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or Chartered, Certified or Certified Professional Accountant is accepted
• Minimum 5-10 years of handling full sets of Accounts
• Must have relevant Manufacturing/Industrial experience
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Prior experience in handling complicated and high volumes of transactions would be an advantage
• Prior experience with SAP systems would be an advantage
• Detailed-oriented, independent, a good team player, and able to handle tight deadlines
