Oversee the whole financial operations including ARs, APs, treasury, fixed assets, inventories, taxes, financial accounting, and management accounting; manage its\xe2\x80\x99 statutory reporting and compliance requirements.
Responsible for all financial-related matters and ensuring day-to-day operations are properly administered and monitored, including credit control.
Ensure that all financial reporting obligations are met and produce financial reports in a timely manner.
Provide financial data and analysis on overall financial performance of the company to the management on a regular and ad hoc basis.
Review monthly financial forecasts including P&L and cash flows for business planning and performance review.
Ensure smooth operations of the department in terms of timely management accounts and other projections required.
Prepare forecast, budget and monitor actual performance.
Work with all divisions head on budget preparation and to achieve cost control for overall profitability improvement. Facilitate the team in the cost analysis for cost monitoring/target.
Responsible for the tax affairs of the company.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, company secretaries and other statutory bodies/authorities.

Requirement

Degree in Accounting/Finance or possess professional certification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA) membership
Minimum 8 years in total relevant working experience
Working experience in a reputable audit firm will be preferred
Current or recent position as Finance Manager or equivalent position will be an advantage
Knowledge of compliance with Bursa Malaysia and Securities Commission will be an advantage
