Job Description

• Bachelor\'s degree in accountancy with Professional Qualification and a member of MIA (Malaysia Institute of Accountants).
• Experience in audit firm is preferred with a minimum of 3 years\' experience as an Accountant / Finance Manager.
• Having experience in manufacturing and trading industry is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Accounting Standards (MFRS) and taxation law.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with ERP system is an asset.
• Prosses excellent leadership skills, detail-orientated, self-motivated and able to meet deadline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, Forecasting and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership and people management skill, with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop a finance team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and general ledger entries.
• Manage timely closing of monthly account and analyze financial reports to provide insights into company\'s financial performance.
• Assist in the preparation of budget, forecast, management assessment and analysis.
• Supervise the account team and collaborate with other department to ensure compliance with Fianacial policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with stakeholders including auditors, tax agents, government authorities, bankers and others.
• Prepare year-end financial report, income and deferred tax calculation and quarterly consolidated accounts.
