Your attention to detail, financial expertise, and leadership skills will be vital in maintaining accurate financial records, facilitating efficient processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. Among the key responsibilities of this position

• To manage financial transactions and maintaining accurate records, and
• To prepare, review, and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements on a regular basis.
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to established deadlines.
• To assist in the development and monitoring of the hotel\'s annual budget, ensuring that expenses are controlled, and revenue goals are met.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and identify discrepancies.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate bank balances and payment records.
• Provide insightful financial analysis, variance analysis, and key performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, prepare, and file tax returns, and liaise with external tax advisors when necessary.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard hotel assets and minimize financial risks.

Requirement:

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; or a related field; ACCA, CPA or CA certification is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the 5-star hotel or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge or accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
