Together, the different backgrounds, experiences, ideas, and perspectives of our employees drive our success.Job Summary Manage revenue accounting, compliance and audit related matters, SOX and accounting policy for Malaysia BU.Primary Functions/Responsibilities:Perform monthly revenue accounting and depreciation for Malaysia BU, including monthly and quarterly reporting.Prepare annual statutory accounts for the Malaysia entities.Ensure compliance with local statutory authorities which include liaising with external auditors and company secretary.Ensure compliance with COP policies and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements, which include liaising with internal auditors.Focal for Balance Sheet account reconciliation process and prepares monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.Focal contact for Malaysia on Accounting Policy related matters.Assist in any other Finance related ad-hoc projects, analysis and/or assignments.Ensure adherence to high company standards for business ethics.HSE Roles:Comply with HSE policies, Life Saving Rules, procedures, goals, and programs within the MBU HSE Management System.Actively engage in and contribute to HSE communication and consultation processes.Actively participate in HSE initiatives and programs that include but not limited to, Safety Observations and HSE Trainings.Support company sustainability development (SD) initiatives and other environmental policies and practices.Personal Characteristics:Degree in Finance or Accounting7 to 10 years working experience in Finance or AccountingGood command of English both spoken and writtenProficient in Microsoft OfficeSAP knowledge is preferred.
