Job Description

Our client, a group of accounting professionals operating across Japan and Asia, specializes in consulting, tax, audit, advisory services, M&A, visa support, and establishing local internal controls.? They are looking for skilled accounting professionals at various levels (Junior Accountant, Accountant, Senior Accountant) to join our team. The successful candidate will handle bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, tax filing, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate bookkeeping and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including consolidation reporting packages Prepare and submit Sales and Services Tax (SST) and Withholding Tax (WHT) filings in compliance with regulatory requirements Perform tax provision calculations, including tax and deferred tax computations for year-end closing Prepare financial statements and coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to ensure compliance with statutory requirements Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify process improvements, streamline accounting workflows, and enhance efficiency Stay updated on the industry trends and regulations affecting accounting practices Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior

Qualifications & Requirement

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field Professional qualifications - ACCA, MIA, CPA or other equivalent Experience in preparing full sets account under MFRS / MPERS Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software such as QuickBook, SQL, Xero, Multi Book and SAP Good communication skills, interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate within the team and various clients Self-motivated individuals, work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time-management, analytical, and organizational skills.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
