About the Role

Our Group of Companies is seeking an experienced

Accountant

to join our finance team in Kuala Lumpur. This position supports our expanding regional and international operations across multiple entities. The successful candidate will manage full sets of accounts, prepare consolidated reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. You will collaborate closely with senior management to support budgeting, audits, and financial analysis for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain full sets of accounts for multiple companies within the Group. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and accounting partners. Assist the CFO and CEO with financial projects and analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of accounting or audit experience, preferably in a multinational or group setting. Strong understanding of accounting principles, consolidation, and reporting. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Member of ACCA or equivalent professional qualification. Knowledge of US GAAP and international financial reporting standards. Experience in cross-border group consolidations. Familiarity with US capital markets and listing processes (Nasdaq or NYSE). Background in audit preparation, financial due diligence, or IPO readiness.
