Job Description

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional looking to build a strong foundation in accounting operations, reporting, and compliance. You will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, month-end close, reconciliations, and audit preparation while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

• Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, AP/AR postings, and updating ledgers.
• Prepare basic balance sheet schedules and perform reconciliations (e.g., bank, intercompany, accruals).
• Support monthly and quarterly closing tasks, including extracting reports, checking entries, and ensuring proper documentation.
• Assist in preparing management reports and financial statements for internal review.
• Work with the AP, AR, and other internal teams to ensure accurate transaction recordings.
• Provide support during external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor queries.
• Assist in maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Support tax-related tasks such as compiling SST documentation and preparing required reports.
• Support payroll-related accounting tasks (e.g., journal postings, reconciliations) when required.
• Participate in process improvement activities to enhance accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
