They are looking to hire an accountant to be based in Petaling Jaya to support the senior management and work closely with their regional finance team.Your key responsibilities includes:
- Handle end-to-end finance reporting and preparation of financial statements in accordance to IFRS.
- Responsible for tasks in the area of month end closing and preparation of journal vouchers.
- Take over project management role for process optimization initiatives
- Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax
- Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)
- Strong knowledge in IFRS
- Exposure in oil & gas, energy, property developmemt.
- A proven track record of being a key contributor to the business\'s commercial value.
- Experience using SAP system
- Candidates with Japanese speaking ability will have good advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
