Key responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare and analyze monthly and annual management accounts, providing commentary and variance analysis to management.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Lead the annual budget process and year-end forecasting by liaising with other departments and developing budgets in collaboration with them.

Strategic Planning:

Provide financial insights to support the development of the company's overall financial strategy and inform strategic decisions.

Team Management:

Manage and lead the accounting team, including assigning tasks, providing coaching, and reviewing the work of junior accountants.

Internal Controls & Compliance:

Establish and oversee a system of internal controls and ensure the company complies with financial regulations, standards, and legal requirements.

Cost Management:

Recommend strategies to reduce costs and control expenditure to ensure it is in line with the budget.

Risk Management:

Perform risk assessments and design plans to minimize financial risks within the organization.

Cash Flow Management:

Oversee the company's cash flow to ensure adequate funding for business operations.

Required skills and qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Proven experience as a management accountant or similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment. Others : Male candidate is preferable (able to communicate in English , Malay & Mandarin)

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
