Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the F&B, hospitality, or retail industry.
- Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is an advantage.
- Fluent in Mandarin (preferred).
- Strong understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the head office/holding.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations including SST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
- Track inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS), and coordinate with operations team on stock movements and variances.
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures and accounting policies.
- Support financial analysis for pricing, promotions, and operational efficiency.
