Bachelor's Degree in

Accounting or Finance

.

Professional qualification

(e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage.

3-5 years

of working experience, preferably in an

accounting firm

and/or

multinational company (MNC)

. Good knowledge of

Accounting Standards

and

Tax Regulations

(including

Transfer Pricing

and

Withholding Tax

) will be an added advantage. Excellent

communication skills

, both written and verbal. Proven ability to

support cross-functional teams

and drive operational efficiency.

Result-oriented, self-motivated, agile, and a strong team player

. Strong

time management

and

organizational skills

. Experience with

SAP-ERP

MS Office

(Excel, PowerPoint),

Power BI

VBA

, and

Macros

will be an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

Manage

daily general accounting activities

and ensure accuracy of financial records. Perform

month-end closing activities

, prepare analyses and commentaries for

regional financial statement reviews

. Prepare and maintain

general ledger accounts

, journal entries,

monthly account reconciliations

, and investigate reconciling items. Ensure

compliance with accounting standards and regulations

(e.g.,

U.S. GAAP

,

SOX

, internal controls, and local statutory requirements). Lead and drive

US GAAP

and

statutory accounting compliance

; conversant in

IFRS

and

US GAAP

with understanding of their impact on local accounting. Collaborate with

cross-functional departments

such as

HR, Marketing, Production, Procurement, and Logistics

. Liaise with

external parties

including

Company Secretary, Tax Agent, Auditor, and Inland Revenue Board (IRB)

. Prepare

yearly audit schedules

and

tax computations

. Maintain and monitor

Fixed Asset Register

and perform regular

Fixed Asset Sighting Exercises

. Prepare

CAPEX proposals

for headquarters approval. Conduct

product costing

and

valuation reviews

. Assist in

annual budget preparation

and financial planning. Participate in or lead

projects, process improvement initiatives

, and

automation efforts

, as well as perform

ad hoc assignments

as required.
