JOB DESCRIPTION

• 
  \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for all aspects of accounts/financial related activities including accounting, financial reports and analysis, auditing, taxation and budgeting for the Company.
  \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for the preparation of monthly reports, financial statements and cash flows forecast and projections for Management
  \xe2\x80\x93 Prepare schedule and analysis for management, auditors and Tax requirements
  \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
  \xe2\x80\x93 Monitoring and control in decentralized finance functions of the business units in various locations.
  \xe2\x80\x93 Work closely and maintain strong relationship with all levels of organisation to identify their needs and seek business solutions.
  \xe2\x80\x93 Liaise with Government departments, Inland Revenue Board, Customs, MIDA and other statutory bodies for compliance and approvals only when necessary
  \xe2\x80\x93 Liaise with Auditors, Company secretary and Tax agents
  \xe2\x80\x93 Coordinate with the respective departments , stores or vendors on invoicing matters
  \xe2\x80\x93 Check and verify purchases invoices to ensure that all Company policies and procedures are adhered to before posting and payment processing
  \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure Invoice/ Debit/Credit Note is issued in a timely manner
  \xe2\x80\x93 Update relevant invoices / CN / DN onto the accounting system
  \xe2\x80\x93 Reconcile vendor statements of account and Inter-company accounts
  \xe2\x80\x93 Preparation of Fund Requests and Payments to Vendors
  \xe2\x80\x93 Process journals for month end
  \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure timeliness and accuracy of AP month end closing activities
  \xe2\x80\x93 Prepare analysis on performance and forecast of healthcare services

• 
  \xe2\x80\x93 Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Professional qualifications or equivalent; and MIA member
  \xe2\x80\x93 Minimum 5 years relevant working experience, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceutical sector and or audit.
  \xe2\x80\x93 Experience in financial management is an advantage.
  \xe2\x80\x93 Must be proficient in accounting standards, MFRS, MPERS, IFRS and GAAP.
  \xe2\x80\x93 Must be proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office & Google.
  \xe2\x80\x93 Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
  \xe2\x80\x93 Strong problem solving and creative skills with ability to exercise sound judgment.
  \xe2\x80\x93 Possess high level of integrity, meticulous, analytical and able to work independently.
