Job Description

Location: Nilais:

• Prepare and analyze journal entries, income statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements and any other financial reports on a regular basis
• Ensure timely completion of company accounting and monthly preparation of financial statements in adherence to Malaysian accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinate production cost analyses to improve cost efficiency and awareness, with a comprehensive understanding of production dynamics.
• Collaborate with local tax authorities for timely filing of various taxes and fees to minimize tax exposure.
• Manage the preparation of company\'s budget, forecast and establish reasons for variances
• Handle financial reporting, banking & treasury, tax, and government and statutory reporting.
• Evaluate financial reporting systems and accounting policies and work processes, and make recommendations for improvement
• Preparation of additional analyses and reports as requested by management
• Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a preference for candidates holding CPA or ACCA certification.
• More than 5 years of experience in financial roles within the manufacturing sector, including expertise in financial statement preparation, budgeting, and both internal and external audits.
• Knowledgeable about international accounting standards and financial management systems, with a background in accounting firms being advantageous.
• Fluent in Chinese, English, and Malay languages.
• Skilled in using financial software and ERP systems.
• Highly detail-oriented, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Attentive to details and potential leadership and team management capabilities.
