Role Overview

This role is responsible for handling the full set of accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control policies. This role supports business operations through proper accounting practices, coordination with internal departments, and audit readiness.

Handle full set of accounts including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and closing reports Perform journal entries, accruals, provisions, and account reconciliations Ensure accuracy and integrity of GL postings in accordance with accounting standards Prepare and review balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation Assist in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing-related accounting entries Support external audits, tax filings, and statutory submissions Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control requirements Coordinate with internal departments on accounting and finance-related matters Participate in accounting process improvement and system optimization initiatives

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience as an Accountant (manufacturing industry is an advantage) Solid knowledge of full set accounts and accounting standards Experience in cost accounting and inventory accounting is preferred Familiar with taxation, statutory submissions, and audit processes Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Detail-oriented, accurate, and well-organized Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines Good communication and teamwork skills
