JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the day to day accounting functions of the company, management reporting functions, forecast, taxation and budgeting.
• Responsible for timely submission of monthly management reports.
• Manage a team of finance staff by providing necessary coaching, guidance and on-the job training to all finance staff to optimize performance of the team.
• Develop internal control system for the company/ subsidiaries and its\' control improvement.
• Responsible for preparation and timely submission of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial report, management accounts, budget, costing and forecast for the company and any other ad-hoc report.
• Assist management in decision making by preparing relevant analysis and data so that correct and value-added decision are made.
• Coordinate to ensure smooth implementation of accounting policies, procedures and accounting systems are complied with management requirement, statutory bodies, external auditors and internal auditors.
• To prepare and submission of financial reports and other returns in compliance with accounting standards/ tax/ Companies Act and relevant laws.
• Preparation of income and expenses schedules for tax compliance and ensure propriety of tax computed by tax agents for the company and subsidiaries.
• Completion of questionnaires from government bodies ie. Statistics Department and Bank Negara.
• Oversee credit control activities and monitor policy and procedures in relation to proper maintenance of account receivables.
• Oversee assets management, account payables and inventories.
• To review subsidiaries accounts and support subsidiaries in any relevant ad-hoc jobs.
• To carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the superiors.

• Degree in Accounting/ Finance or related discipline with professional qualification of ACCA, CPA, CMA or etc.
• Preferably with at least 4 years of audit or taxation experience.
• Members of MIA and MICPA/ ACCA/ CIMA.
• Those with SAP Financial system knowledge will have an added advantage.
• Proactive, resourceful and innovative with an eye for detail.
• A team player who can work well independently under a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
