Job Description

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing financial insights to the management. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. You will start working remotely first and be expected to join onsite at DTL's Malaysia office after it is set up.

Responsibilities

Daily accounting tasks including expense tracking, general ledger entries, etc. Preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements Perform GST reporting and other tax filing/compliance Support internal and external audit Other ad-hoc tasks assigned to you

Qualifications

Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent field, with 2-5 years of relevant working experience Detail-oriented with ability to complete tasks in an accurate and thorough manner Proactive and hands-on Team player with good communication skills

The following skills are bonus

Knowledge of MYOB/Xero or other popular accounting software/cloud solutions Knowledge on consolidation accounting for foreign subsidiaries Working knowledge in IFRS reporting with latest developments CPA/ACCA or its equivalents Familiarity with MAS regulatory reporting

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
